Our History

Duck Creek Energy, was founded in 1983 by David I. Mansbery, James Oberle and James Wilkes. In 1988, David Mansbery, became sole owner, and he, along with his dedicated staff continues to operate wells throughout the region.

Duck Creek Energy, a privately held company, is located in Brecksville, Ohio and has successfully drilled over 150 wells throughout northeast Ohio. Duck Creek Energy has successfully drilled sensitive areas such as churches, cemeteries, golf club communities, schools and residential neighborhoods all with little fanfare; this is a safety record we are very proud of. Combined with the guidance from a simple vision to provide value for our investors, royalty owners and landowners, we will continue to maintain excellence in the oil and gas industry.
